The following resources, powered by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), are available to help throughout the life of your business:
- U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) - provides services including funding programs, counseling, federal contracting certifications, and disaster recovery. We can also connect you to our partner organizations, lenders, and other community groups that help small businesses succeed.
- ND Small Business Development Centers (ND SBDC) - network of credentialed business advisors empower North Dakota small businesses and entrepreneurs to thrive. We accelerate business growth in communities across North Dakota by providing customized guidance and resources that help owners and entrepreneurs achieve their goals at every stage of their business life cycle.
- ND Women's Business Center (ND WBC) - with teams located in Bismarck, Fargo, Grand Forks, Wahpeton, and Williston we are accessible to the state’s women-owned businesses through in-person and virtual one-on-one business coaching services, technical training, and intensive development programs.
- SCORE Mentors - provides a wide range of services to established and budding business owners alike, including free mentoring, online courses and webinars, library of online resources, and local workshops.
- Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC of the Dakotas) - is a one-stop-shop for service members, veterans, and military spouses looking to start, purchase, or grow a business. Located nationwide, VBOCs provide training workshops, including Boots to Business and Boots to Business Reboot programs, as well as business development assistance such as training, advising and mentoring, and resource referrals.
